Love is a Mysterious Thing

Nobody knows or can figure out what love really is until it has hit them in the face. Even when most people think they’re in true love, they’re most likely not. I’m not at all an expert on relationships and love but I do know a little something about it from my own past experiences and the experiences of those around me. I have figured out love is something you can’t explain, something that can completely take over a person. I know that I love my family but the love I have for them is not the same kind of love that I will have for my husband someday. It’s been said that you should only be in love with one person at a time but I believe that you can be in love with many separate people. This is mostly because each relationship has a different kind of love; no two relationships are the same. I know that I love my family, my friends, my pets, and a few guys who may or may not have stronger feelings for me. I have had guys say they love me before I ever felt a connection with them. In that case they are lusting after me or infatuated with me but not in love. Love is not a one way street, it has to be returned. If those feelings aren’t returned, it isn’t true love.
